Mrs. Monajjem, Quddus, Samarih, and Mr. Monajjem

This was my last day in the Amazon before going home to visit my parents in Texas. I enjoyed my time in the Amazon and learned a great deal about the area and the people. It reminded me a lot of Chad. The people are really relaxed, kind and very hospitable. The Monajjem family are doing a lot of work there and in the middle of almost nowhwere. The time of year i was there was very humid. Just walk outside and one starts sweating. Samarih and myself had 'hot dates' everyday there! The exotic fruits were very delicious. And i enjoyed laying on a hammock! The meat and coffee were out of this world. I encourage you to visit!
